State Journal reports that a basement flood in 2000 has led to the March 29 closing of Capital City Comics & Books, which couldn't recover from the $161,000 loss of one-of-a-kind comics and collectibles after a main waterline broke. The owners, who continue to sell comics from other stores, hope a settlement can be reached in a lawsuit over the flood, allowing Capital City to reopen.
