Dead blog walking: I waited to post, but there's still nothing happening today. Where's Bill Jemas when you need him?
So, how about a quick roundup?
Eventually, I'm convinced, Steve Niles, Robert Kirkman, Brian Michael Bendis and Jay Faerber will write every comic. All of them. Nothing will be left for the rest of us.
Newsarama reports on Faerber's latest inroad into comics domination: an 80-page black and white graphic novel from Image called "Dodge's Bullets." The book, illustrated by James Francis, apparently is influenced by "The Rockford Files," among other things.
And that's good enough for me. The only thing I like more than the antics of Jim Rockford is the cover art of Tony Harris, so I'll definitely give "Dodge's Bullets" a look when it comes out in February.
Meanwhile, over at Journalista, Dirk comes through with a closer look at Marvel's third-quarter earnings report. While informative, Dirk's analysis is nowhere as entertaining as the discussion of the report in the Newsarama forums, which has turned into a fight over "decompressed" storytelling.
