The article brings readers up to speed with news of the defection of VP of Sales Robert Boyd to ADV Manga, the ending of several CrossGen series, and employee layoffs.

And this can't be a good sign: "In addition, Book Wholesalers Inc. (www.bwibooks.com), a wholesaler that serves public libraries, noted in its December online newsletter that 'all of CrossGen's spring 2004 titles have been postponed until fall 2004.'"
