Comics take center stage: The Seattle Post-Intelligencer previews the Sept. 3-6 Bumbershoot arts festival, which includes a "Graphic Novel Heavyweights" panel featuring Harvey Pekar, Gilbert Hernandez, Jessica Abel, Craig Thompson and Peter Bagge, as well as solo panels by Bagge and Hernandez, and an ongoing "Comic Biography Theatre":
