They're getting younger and younger: The Lansing (Mich.) State Journal spotlights 7-year-old phenom Layne Toth, a budding comic-book artist and a student at Lansing Community College. She's collaborating with comics writer Chris Yambar on two comics, Meow-Wow and Faith: Warrior Princess. Here's Yambar, who met Toth at last year's Mid-Ohio Con:

"She's destined for success (and) she's as serious as a heart attack! What better way (is there) to make kids' comics than to have kids make them?"
