Fruits Basket tops sales list: ICv2.com reports that Fruits Basket Vol. 5 has bumped In the Shadow of No Towers from the top spot on BookScan's list of graphic novels sold in bookstores. Art Spiegelman's highly publicized book already has sold more than 21,000 copies, and could become the No. 1-selling graphic novel of the year -- despite its fall release.

Manga continues to dominate the BookScan charts, with 46 of the Top 50 positions. "Interestingly," ICv2 notes, "the eight manga titles in the Top Ten were evenly divided, with four shoujo series and four shonen."
