Giant Robot invasion: New York Daily News reports that Giant Robot, the pop-culture magazine, store and soon-to-be restaurant, is looking for retail space in New York City:

"The Giant Robot brand is an arbiter of forthcoming trends, largely coming from Asian culture, but not exclusively. Wired magazine has a column called ‘Japanese Schoolgirl Watch' that is essentially a distilled knockoff."
