Marvel takes on Disney (again)

First, Marvel sued Disney over profits from the Spider-Man, X-Men and Incredible Hulk animated series that appeared on ABC Family (nee Fox Family Network). Now, Rutgers reports, the House of Ideas wants to strip the House of Mouse of its licensing deals for the Marvel characters.

In a lawsuit filed Friday, Marvel wants a judge to declare that Disney never legally assumed the copyrights to the Marvel characters when it purchased the original licensee, Fox Family Network, in 2001.
