Dark Horse to publish 'Vampire Hunter D' novel

ICv2.com also notes that Dark Horse will publish an English-language version of the first Vampire Hunter D novel, written by Hideyuki Kikuchi. The novel, which is the first of 13 in the influential series, was published in Japan in 1983. The Dark Horse edition, set for a May 4 release, will feature a painted cover and eight black-and-white interior illustrations by Yoshitaka Amano (Sandman: The Dream Hunters).
