Stan Lee to create superhero film for Paramount

BBC News reports that Stan Lee is teaming with producer Robert Evans and screenwriter Peter Briggs for a Paramount Pictures film featuring a new superhero.

Foreverman -- not Forever Knight, as I'd initially hoped -- will embrace typical Lee themes, focusing on a character with extraordinary powers who must deal with the problems of everyday life.

Although Lee's recent efforts, such as Stripperella, haven't exactly set the world on fire, POW! Entertainment's Gill Champion envisions Foreverman as a new franchise for Paramount:

"In this world where people are looking for something different, Stan's idea was to create a concept not seen before to become an evergreen franchise for Paramount."
