More on Marvel's bookstore distribution switch: Publishers Weekly (subscription required) confirms yesterday's report from that Marvel will switch its bookstore distribution back to Diamond after just two years at Client Distribution Services:

"[Unnamed sources] say that Marvel would make the move to save money by consolidating all its books in a single warehouse -- and because Diamond is simply more knowledgeable about Marvel's books and the category overall. ... Marvel has not responded to calls for comment. And a spokesperson for CDS says that the company 'will not confirm or deny' the switch. But the report, which first surfaced on comics trade site, has since been confirmed independently."
