Beckett launches shojo magazine today

Beckett Publications launched its first shojo magazine today with Beckett Spotlight: Anime For Girls, available at numerous mainstream retail outlets, including Wal-Mart, Toys R Us, 7-Eleven and Blockbuster Video. The cover price is $6.99 U.S.

The first issue, which features InuYasha on the cover, includes articles on the Top 5 "hottest guys" of anime (I presume that means characters, not creators), top "anime girls of action," and exclusive sneak peeks of Tokyopop's Peach Fuzz and CPM Manga's The World of Narue.
