Puffin moves into graphic novels: Crain's New York reports that, beginning next summer, Puffin Books will publish a line of classics repackaged as graphic novels for young readers. The first titles in the new Puffin Graphics will include Macbeth, "illustrated in sci-fi style," and Black Beauty, "which has been given a cinematic look." Frankenstein and The Red Badge of Courage will follow. Puffin, a division of the Penguin Group, plans to publish eight classics by summer 2006.
