Comics have a brand-new bag

The San Diego Union-Tribune profiles artist/designer Meg Musick-Makely, who has opened the Rock Musick boutique in Solana Beach, Calif. Among her creations are clear vinyl purses with comic books inside. Featured titles include DC's Batgirl, Wonder Woman and Bad Girls, Disney's Duck Tales and Marvel's She-Hulk:

"Mostly, I was going for the girl thing."

The "comic book bags" sell for $40. I wonder whether the publishers know about this?
