Comics crime watch: Portsmouth, Va.

I really need to whip up a logo for these things.

The Virginian-Pilot takes a look at about $4,000 worth of stolen property seized from a drug operation by Portsmouth, Va., police. Among the items believed to have been stolen, then traded for drugs: someone's comic-book collection, kept in a shoe box.

“Some of them were Superman,” Detective Jayson R. Roten told the newspaper.
